Leavy.co
At Leavy.co I came on board as an executive creative director to build a design team so we can focus on the product design of the application and website but also all on- and offline marketing. My role was to source the talent we needed, direct, motivate and inspire the team into creating one seamless brand identity and user experience across our channels and products.

User journey
For the application we started out by mapping out the persona’s and the user journeys that they take.

Reservations
One of the major challenges I had to tackle for the Leavy app was that the user should be able to travel to content/locations they see within their feed. Seeing a post and clicking on the “Go” cta the user enters a booking flow where they would first book a flight with x amount of people on date x. Next the accommodation reservation flow will commence which is followed by an optional reservation of an experience. As you can image it was quite the challenge connecting all the dots (or API’s) for live data, booking and reservation requests and keeping the user journey as short and seamless as possible.
Get inspired, make your reservation and go!

Feed destinations
Within the feed all imagery is accessible for travel or booking. If you see a tropical island, go fl there, if you see a nice meal, book the restaurant. You follow friends and influencers to get inspired to travel.
-
Travel
The user enters the booking a trip flow where he/she can select the best offer, fill in and change all travel specifications (like date, amount of travellers, passenger data).
-
Experience
You can book experiences on the app directly from the feed. These can vary from a romatic seaside dinner restaurant to diving in the Maldives or skydiving in New Zealand
-
Accomodation
Finally you can book an accommodation anywhere in the world creating a full circle experience from feed to final destination with all the extra’s in between.
